§ 2-814. Notice and advertisement.

  • For contracts for public improvement and purchases of supplies, materials or services that require competitive bidding, the purchasing agent shall provide public notice in a newspaper qualified under state law for such legal advertisement at least 15 days prior to the opening of the bid. The public notice shall contain a brief statement of the commodity or group of commodities to be purchased and shall provide the terms, conditions and manner of payment.
